The Chest Hunt is a Minigame. To gain access to it you need to finish The Key to Success and purchase the Chest Hunt Key. The key will now spawn every 60-600 seconds and float slightly above the height of Random Boxes. Just like Random Boxes, Keys will not spawn while a menu is open on mobile in portrait mode.
The Chest Hunt consists of 30 Chests, 4 being mimics. You can keep opening boxes until you hit a mimic. Chests always have a small chance to contain the character Skar (1% per chest) until you find him.
After purchasing the Ascension upgrade Chest Hunt Saver, one of the chests will always contain a Saver. You can use the "Saver Locator" by watching an ad to automatically locate the Saver. Open this chest after your first chest or two if you have the Crystal Saver/Reinforced Crystal Saver Upgrades, otherwise you risk losing the effectiveness of your Crystal Saver Upgrade. If you are playing on Steam, this Saver Locator will automatically activate as there are no ads.
The Divinity x2 Next Pick will add another chest option (x2), which will double the value of the next chest. Savers, Armory chests, souls and coins will be doubled. Mimics will be treated as if the x2 was not active: if you have a saver, it will activate. The mimic will not be doubled, x2 will be available for the next chest. If you don't have a saver, the chest hunt will be over.

Perfect Chest Hunt[]
When the entire board is cleared, the player will be presented with a set of Perfect Chests. Open one and find out what's inside! It can contain a Permanent Upgrade or a Mega Multiplier, which multiplies the results of the entire Chest Hunt.
